Styles in Word are a collection of formatting characteristics which can be applied to a document at one time. Characteristics in styles include font name and size, bold and underline, line spacing, and indentations. Using styles saves time when formatting a document and encourages consistency throughout. We showed participants  how to create and apply a style in a Word document with JAWS.
