20261027 Herbie’s Community Cooking Corner

Participants joined me for another cooking adventure. This time: Mini Muffin Mix presented by Nick and Heidi and Air Frier Steak and caramelized onions by Herbie. If you cook along, you need the following:
For the Mix:
·     3 tsp baking powder
·     1 1/8 tsp salt
·     3/4 C sugar
·     3/4 tsp cinnamon
·     3/4 tsp nutmeg
·     3/4 C raisins
·     Wide mouth 1-quart canning jar For the Steak
·     1 or 2 steaks (Ribeye or New York Strip work best)
·     1 large yellow or white onion-sliced into thick half-moons
·     1.5 tbsp avocado or olive oil (separated)
·     Salt
·     heavy black pepper
·     optionally a dash of garlic powder
The Sauce (Optional):
·     1 tbsp butter
·     A splash of Worcestershire sauce.
