Sunday Edition in partnership with Take 2 Radio presents:
Linda Gray… The Conversation
Join Pam and Anthony for a special conversation with the legendary Linda Gray, beloved around the world for her unforgettable portrayal of Sue Ellen Ewing on Dallas.
With a career spanning more than five decades, the Emmy and Golden Globe nominated actress, author, and humanitarian takes us through the roles, relationships, and risks that shaped her life. Linda reflects on the evolution of Sue Ellen, the extraordinary global success of Dallas, and her cherished friendship with Larry Hagman.
She also shares memories of working with Norman Lear and takes us through her experiences in film, television, theater, and voice acting. In one especially candid story, Linda takes us to the London stage, where she had to face her fear of appearing nude. She recalls what it took to embrace the challenge and how she finally shook off the fear.
Drawing from her book, The Road to Happiness Is Always Under Construction, Linda shares the story of a letter she’s treasured for more than 50 years, along with nuggets of wisdom she’s collected and lived by. Her love of life shines through in the stories she tells, the recipes she shares, and even the skin care secrets she’s picked up along the way. She talks about embracing who you are and taking care of yourself physically, mentally, and emotionally.
Linda also speaks candidly about the death of her son and what it took to reclaim her life while carrying that grief. In reflecting on the people and experiences that shaped her, she shares what resilience and gratitude have meant to her, and how she has found room for joy again.
For Anthony, this was one of those rare conversations that left him feeling nourished. It was a privilege to sit with Linda and hear her speak with such warmth and candor about the life she’s lived and the lessons she still carries with her.
It’s a warm, personal conversation with an extraordinary woman whose talent, grace, and wisdom continue to inspire generations.
